Loved it!I wish my words were as eloquent as Aleatha Romig’s are, but unfortunately they are not so I will do my best to give her writing the justice it deserves. I laughed and I cried as my heart swelled with happiness and tears leaked down my face. I cried from the super sweet times and from the moments that broke my heart. Tony and Claire have a special place in my heart. I fell in love with this story after reading Consequences in early 2013. I was hooked and with each book I fell harder than the book before. This book is no exception. It tugs at your heart while giving you hope that a HEA does exist.
Beyond the Consequences -The Journey Continues was breathe taking and emotional. I found myself laughing one minute and crying the next. This story gave us the missing period from when Tony and Claire reunited for the final time until the birth of their sweet boy, Nathaniel.
As the life of the Rawlings continue, so do the emotional moments that make the readers love them more with each additional book of this series. Aleatha’s brilliant writing keeps true to her characters- not changing them but simple improving them to the characters we have all come to love and cherish.
Tony is still dominating, arrogant, and in complete control but now our alpha possesses a side that very few have witnessed, a soft and caring side. Claire is the soft sweet woman of before but now she is more bold and cheeky with a spunky side. Claire still holds the power to ignite and extinguish her alpha husband with her “smart mouth”. She no longer fears his anger but embraces his emotions, confronting and guiding him to face what he fears.
Aleatha also gave a little extra with the POV of other characters we have come to love and a new one that will definitely change the life of one of our favorites. Maybe one day she will consider giving us a few of the other characters a chance to tell their story. I think many have a lot to say- but for now I am happy with all the new revelations’ of the Rawlings’ and their family and friends.
Once again, Aleatha did an amazing job with Beyond The Consequences- The Journey Continues giving us insight in the lives of so many we love without reliving their past. Aleatha Romig is a talented writer who will only soar higher as an author as her writing career continues

Tony Rawlings is probably my all-time favorite "love to hate him" book boyfriend. I absolutely cannot get enough of Tony and Claire!
Told in multiple POVs, this book offers a look at Tony and Claire's life together as they live their happily ever after. I enjoyed this book and was glad to see two of my favorite characters get to ride off into the sunset together. They really seem to have settled in to their new lives, filled with domestic bliss and play dates. Their love for one another is still unparalleled and it was nice to see them get to have some normalcy for a change, relatively speaking.
At the same time, I have to admit that this book didn't have quite the same draw for me as the earlier books. I don't know that there is any other way for Tony and Claire to get their HEA, but I can't help but feel that Tony has lost the sadistic, manipulative characteristics that defined him. It was inevitable if there was ever going to be a HEA in the cards for him and Claire, but the masochist in me misses the old Tony. I guess I wanted to have my cake and eat it too!
Of course, it wouldn't be Tony and Claire if there wasn't a little mystery and danger. The eerily familiar letters continue to turn up, threatening their newfound peaceful existence. This time around, Nichol has captured the attention of a person from Tony and Claire's past.
While Phil works diligently to eliminate this latest threat against the Rawlingses, more of his history comes to light. He finds himself opening up and unexpectedly forging new bonds with Taylor, the newest member of the Rawlingses security team. I look forward to reading more about Phil and his new love interest in the future. It seems that Tony and Claire aren't the only characters that will get a HEA in this series.
Despite the changed dynamics of Tony and Claire's relationship, I continue to enjoy this story immensely. I cannot get enough of this story! I look forward to hearing more about the futures of Tony, Claire and all the other characters I've grown to love in this series.
